We all know the wonderfully spectacular and thrilling performances of marching bands.
They are led by a conductor – tamburmajor, keeping the rhythm with his baton. That is how – with literal translation of the name – the drum major of a military orchestra became the inspiration for our Christmas tree bauble presented here.
Figurine baubles in the form of a nutcracker are already a true classic - that's how much this character, thanks to the archetype from the famous story of E.T.A. Hoffamann from 1816, is associated with Christmas. Traditionally, the nutcracker is a soldier, and our iteration is also presented in a magnificent uniform: a silver coat with golden facings, red trousers inserted into long black shoes, accompanied by a tall lancer cap in a shimmering metallic celadon colour. Please note how magnificently the outfit of our drum major is decorated with elements from green and red glitter, shimmering glitter in his belt with a pearl-coloured buckle, and, above all, numerous crystals all across the coat, in boot trimmings and on the cap rim.
And also the most important thing for a drum major – his magnificent long golden baton, complementing the beautiful decorations of this wonderful bauble.
