Christmas ornament heart - 12cm - Rowan

Bunches of rowan fruit are a common motif in the ethnic art of many nations.

The reason is always the same - since ancient times, rowan has been attributed magical possibilities and great powers. It protected against misfortune.
It was difficult to ignore such a beautiful symbol when creating our glass ornaments. And certainly the most appropriate shape for such a bauble is a big heart.
The glass bauble presented here draws patterns from the rich treasury of folk art in many ways. It is both the heart shape itself, very popular in folk decorations, as well as the traditional, contrasting red and black colours. And of course decoration with stylized leaves and berries of rowan. These decorations were made just like our other hand-decorated baubles: with great attention to details and using excellent raw materials. Like the translucent, beautifully light-refracting red crystals, which imitate rowan ovates in the decoration.
