The presented glass Christmas balls in the shape of a mid-size egg is a free interpretation of ornaments adorning one of the famous Easter Faberge eggs.

The original was created in 1907 – it was a valuable painted egg made of gold and enamel with a diamond grid and enamelled roses. It was a truly beautiful gift received by the wife of tsar Nicolas II for Easter.

Our hand-decorated egg balls also have an air of nobility about them. Black varnish grid enriched with dots made with silver glitter contrasts with the pastel background in subdued pink. In windows between the grid, buds of delicate roses come into bloom, surrounded by green leaves. Flowers and leaves were made with subtle brush strokes. Their edges are additionally adorned with fine golden glitter.

Our egg glass balls are perfect for adorning both winter and spring decorations. Additionally, thanks to true elegance and romantic vibe, they may become a very unique gift. Just as the tsarist original.
