We want to present to you a nostalgic winter scene painted on glass baubles – balls.
The scene has a thorough holiday content: a parent with child come back home while carrying a freshly cut Christmas tree. December snow has covered the whole presented neighbourhood and literally has erased the contours of further backgrounds. The smoke coming from a chimney announces big cooking – yes, Christmas is just around the corner!
Glass baubles with our view are very atmospheric. They remind of old Christmas cards or illustrations not only with their approach to the subject, but also with way of execution. For example, let’s notice the colours of bauble, which are like from a black and white photograph. An innovative procedure is the breaking of the basic colouring with bright red colour used for details - clothing of our heroes. The red colour also appears on the fruits of a foreground branch surrounding the whole ball. They are made from beautiful glass rubies that add attractiveness to the whole bauble.
