All glass baubles from our folk collection are distinguished by saturated colors, expressive motifs taken from handicraft art, strength and vitality.
Such are also the glass eggs baubles presented here, the decoration and colors of which refer to folk fabrics and clothes. The background of our bauble is juicy, deep red. A delicate pattern applied to the background with shiny red varnish and red glitter bring to mind patterns on the fabric and raised embroidery.
The decorative black stripe around the ornament contrasts strongly with the background. This is the title selvedge, full of colorful wildflowers on a black background. This decoration was entirely made of glitter in pure, basic colors: green, red, gold and cornflower blue. The decoration of the bauble is beautifully enriched by shiny glass stones: emeralds on a selvedge and rubies on a red background. The whole thing is very decorative. The egg bauble with a selvedge will certainly enliven and cheer up any Christmas arrangement.
