Matrioshkas, i.e. sets of stylized hollow dolls put into one another, have been known and popular for over a hundred years.
The original ones are made of wood, ours are glass baubles. But they have one thing in common: a colorful hand-painted decoration.
These dolls are usually girls in folk costumes, and so are the bauble figurines presented here. Our matryoshka wears a lively red dress, made of glossy varnish, and the same headscarf. The entire outfit is decorated with colorful flowers with green brocade leaves and white hemstitch on frills. Transparent pearls and red crystals shine beautifully in detail. The lower frill of the dress is enlivened by dots of shimmering white brocade. The whole decoration is precise and meticulously made, as befits real artistic Christmas tree baubles.
We would like to draw your attention to our matryoshka's face, her great joyful eyes and a happy smile. She is a very nice person who is worth inviting to Christmas!
