We present to you the glass Christmas bauble in the shape of a large egg distinctive for its truly extraordinary beauty and elegance.
Attention is drawn by the background alone - it is a deep noble matt navy blue. It provides a great foundation for the contrasting floral ornaments. Gold glitter tendrils entwine the egg gently dividing them into clear vertical sections. Gold glitter has also been used to mark the contours of leaves, both those at the cap as well as those on golden branches. The surface of leaves is covered with small glass beads which lighten and brighten the decoration.
The main motive of our egg's ornaments are the styled cornflowers. Please note the meticulous details in petals and their beautiful colours. We have here an excellent combination of blue in two different shades, sapphire and azure. The petals have been additionally covered with tiny glass beads – this adds spatiality and a unique gleam to the ornaments. Bright crystal diamonds complement the entire decoration.
Only hand-decorated glass baubles could of course be made in such a way. Our mauve-blue egg is a magnificent example of the Polish handicraft.
