First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the sophisticated colour scheme of the bauble. Whites and blues predominate here, broken by dark tones and shades of brown. The painted scene on the bauble itself depicts a panorama of snowy mountains with the silhouettes of a pair of animals in the foreground. These are a magnificent deer with forked, proud antlers and a doe searching for food under the snow. The mountain slopes are illuminated by the glare of the sun, while the valley hides in shadow.
